Music I listen to
Anything that strikes my fancy. About the only thing I can say that I don't enjoy is hip hop, but I'll even listen to that on occasion. I love to sing
karaoke, and on Sunday nights I never miss The Thistle and Shamrock or Hearts of Space on NPR. I like Kenny Chesney, I like ABBA, I love
Elvis, I like Enya, I love Beethoven and Mozart, and I love big band music. My one claim to fame (and it isn't even mine!) is that my grandma's second
cousin played first trombone in Lawrence Welk's band. So there. 
The one thing that I really want to do before I die is attend a show at the Met in New York, New York.
Books that moved me
Memoires of a Geisha (Arthur Golden) - read it before I watched the movie. Loved it.
She's Come Undone (Wally Lamb)
The Windflower (Laura London)
Gone With the Wind (Margaret Mitchell) - both the book and movie rank up there in the top 5; movie is numero uno
The Holy Bible
Any word that Rosamunde Pilcher put down on paper. The woman was a genius, I tell you.
A Separate Peace (John Knowles)
To Kill a Mockingbird (Harper Lee) Everyone should read this book at least once.
I just finished the latest book in the Rachel Morgan series by Kim Harrison. If you like witches, vampires, pixies and weres, you need to read these books! They are : Dead Witch Walking, The Good, The Bad, and The Undead, Every Witch Way But Dead, A Fistful of Charms and the last, For a Few Demons More. Go, fall in love with Kisten. He's hot.
